Pavel Chekov was incredibly proud of being Russian and took every opportunity to credit his homeland… even for things that it could not take credit for!  In this piece the playfulness and youth of Chekov is on full display.  The genius ensign with an impish streak is bracketed by a strong splash of red, representing that he himself is Russia’s ultimate gift to the Enterprise and her crew… with love!
