Benjamin Sisko landed himself in a position that most of us could neither imagine nor easily navigate. He was declared the emissary to the prophets, taking on an iconic role in a religion that was not his own, nor of his own people. And despite having understandable difficulty with accepting the role, he did not allow it to feed his ego, rather he showed tremendous humility and protectiveness over what that role meant to those that he served. Nobility at its finest!
